This is a new signal for the re-signalling. It is on the Up Kemble and applies to down direction movements. It is a fixed red signal.
Trains approaching Kemble on the down line can cross over and arrive in the up platform in order to terminate and return to Swindon. This signal limits the wrong-direction movement into the up platform.
No such similar signal existed in Swindon Panel days.
