Taken from the Down Main looking back up towards Swindon. The line on the right is the Up Main and the line on the left is the Up Goods (later to become the Up Relief).
Rodbourne Sidings and were controlled from Rushey Platt Ground Frame (lever 7). A stop-lamp is visible on the right hand side, as by the time of this photo the trailing crossover and connections to the sidings on the down side (former connection to MSWJR) had been removed, before which the stop lamp was a ground position light, SN.276.
